India beat Australia by 6 wickets in T20 match

    India: 202/4 | Overs 19.4 | Yuvraj Singh 77*, MS Dhoni 24* [INDIA WIN BY  6 WICKETS]

    INDIA win by six wickets!

With just seven to get and the likes of Yuvraj and Dhoni in the middleWatson really had to pull off an never-seen-before miracle. Yuvraj takes a single off the first ball and Dhoni finishes it off with a four and a couple of runs. India begin the series with a good six wicket win thanks to Yuvraj's spectacular performance.

    India: 195/4 | Overs 19 | Yuvraj Singh 76*, MS Dhoni 18*

Yuvraj cannot do anything wrong here, can he? He steers a low full toss to the third man boundary. Just seven runs to win from six balls.

    India: 187/4 | Overs 18 | Yuvraj Singh 70*, MS Dhoni 16*

Yuvraj Singh wants to finish it himself. He gets a boundary on the off-side and then a six through mid-wicket. India are just 15 runs away from 12 deliveries.

    India: 173/4 | Overs 17 | Yuvraj Singh 59*, MS Dhoni 14*

Yuvraj is in a hurry here! He gets a glorious straight six and follows it up with a pull behind square. Faulkner then strays down the leg side and Haddin can't stop it from running away to the fine leg boundary. 20 massive runs off the over. 29 runs to win from 18 balls.

    India: 153/4 | Overs 16 | Yuvraj Singh 47*, MS Dhoni 12*

Yuvraj Singh gets a boundary off an otherwise silent over. Only seven runs from the over. India need 49 from 24 balls.

    India: 146/4 | Overs 15 | Yuvraj Singh 42*, MS Dhoni 11*

You just can't keep Yuvraj down when he's in such fine form. He gets two fours over mid off. 13 runs from the over. India need 56 runs to win from 30 balls.

    India: 133/4 | Overs 14 | Yuvraj Singh 31*, MS Dhoni 10*

Ladies and Gentleman, its Yuvraj time! He clears the deep midwicket fielder to get a six off the second ball. He then flicked the next ball, only for Shane Watson failing to keep a good attempt. Watson takes the catch, tosses up the ball and tries to come back in to take the catch but his foot touches the rope. Yuvraj rubs salt to wounds with a flick to fine leg boundary. 18 runs from the over.

    India: 115/4 | Overs 13 | Yuvraj Singh 14*, MS Dhoni 9*

MS Dhoni comes into the act! He clubs a length delivery to the cover boundary. Watson, meanwhile, tests Yuvraj with a short delivery. Nine runs from the over.

    India: 106/4 | Overs 12 | Yuvraj Singh 13*, MS Dhoni 1*  OUT! Kohli 29 (22)

McKay gets Virat Kohli! Big wicket, this. Kohli comes down the track but fails to clear long-on.

Yuvraj then, gets cheeky! He positions himself to cut a delivery but has to change his decision mid-way as it turns out to be a slower one. Yuvraj chooses to wait for it and plays his cut just beyond the reach of a full stretched Haddin.

    India: 100/3 | Overs 11 | Kohli 29*, Yuvraj Singh 8*

Kohli begins Doherty's second over with a six but Doherty comes back well to give just three more runs in the over. 100 comes up for India.

    India: 91/3 | Overs 10 | Kohli 20*, Yuvraj Singh 8*

Yuvraj and sublime timing! Who can tell this man hasn't played for a long time? He plays a beautiful flick shot to the boundary off the last ball.

    India: 83/3 | Overs 9 | Kohli 18*, Yuvraj Singh 2*  OUT! Dhawan 32 (19)

Xavier Doherty comes in and gets a vital breakthrough. Just when Kohli and Dhawan were looking set to build a big partnership, Doherty dismissed Dhawan. The Southpaw came down the wicket but Doherty was quick to change his line and bowl a short ball. Dhawan missed it and Haddin completed the formalities behind the stumps. Yuvraj Singh comes to bat.

    India: 74/2 | Overs 8 | Dhawan 28*, Kohli 16*

Moises Henriques comes into the attack and is hit for a straight boundary by Kohli. He gets a quick double and then scores another boundary with a lovely cut to beat the third man fielder.  Dhawan then punishes Henriques for a poor delivery outside the off-stump. He collects a boundary past point to finish the over with 15 runs.

    India: 59/2 | Overs 7 | Dhawan 24*, Kohli 5*

Six singles taken from the Faulkner over.

    India: 53/2 | Overs 6 | Dhawan 20*, Kohli 2* OUT! Raina 19 (13)

Coulter-Nile gets a big wicket! Suresh Raina is gone! He is gone off a short delivery after attempting a pull shot and getting a leadin edge. Nine runs and a wicket.

    India: 44/1 | Overs 5 | Dhawan 20*, Raina 13*

Dhawan and Raina are starting to build a good stand here. They've added 30 runs from just 2.5 oversA good over from Faulkner, just five runs from it.

    India: 39/1 | Overs 4 | Dhawan 18*, Raina 12*

Three fours come from the over — with Dhawan picking two and Raina hitting one.14 runs from the over.

    India: 25/1 | Overs 3 | Dhawan 9*, Raina 7*

Watson continues. He bowls a short delivery to Dhawan who pulls is just past Haddin to the fine leg boundary. Suresh Raina finishes the over with a pull behind square. 11 runs from the over.

    India: 14/1 | Overs 2 | Dhawan 3*, Raina 2* OUT! Rohit 8 (8)

Clint McKay gets rid of Rohit Sharma! Lazy, lazy cricket here from Rohit. He doesn't get to the pitch of the ball and tries to play an aerial stroke on the off-side but can only manage an outside edge straight to Haddin behind the stumps. McKay had given Rohit a six off the first ball but has finished with the last laugh. Suresh Raina walked out.

    India: 2/0 | Overs 1 | Dhawan 0*, Rohit 1*

Shane Watson has been handed the new ball first up. He starts with a lovely ball to Rohit Sharma, opening up the Indian opener. Hint of late movement there. Watson gets the next delivery to beat Rohit's bat from outside the off-stump. Excellent first over from Watson. Just two runs from the over.

    Australia: 201/7 | Overs 20 |  Coulter-Nile 12*, Faulkner 10*
Australia finish at 201 for seven.

Ishant Sharma started with a well-disguised slower ball which ends up as a dot ball. Coulter-Nile plays a wild swing in the next delivery and gets a couple. Good variation from Ishant coupled with excellent fielding from Suresh Raina prevents a certain boundary. Faulkner gets a six off the final delivery to take Australia past the 200-run mark.

    Australia: 190/7 | Overs 19 |  Coulter-Nile 7*, Faulkner 3*

Slower ball seems to be the trick on this wicket. Vinay Kumar takes the pace off the ball and keeps Faulkner from going for the big shots. Coulter-Nile, however, beats the point fielder and gets a boundary. Vinay Kumar finishes with a good over. Eight runs from it.

    Australia: 182/7 | Overs 18 |  Coulter-Nile 2*, Faulkner 1* OUT! Henriques 12 (12)

Bhuvneshwar Kumar strikes again. He has his fourth wicket of the game. Henriques fails to read the slower deliver and goes through with his shot. He mistimes and the leading edge is taken by Yuvraj. Six runs and a wicket from the over.

    Australia: 176/6 | Overs 17 |  Henriques 8*, Coulter-Nile 1* OUT! Finch 88 (52)
This is a game of uncertainties! Finch, who has been whacking everything bowled to him has been dismissed off a full toss. Vinay Kumar deserves credit for latching onto a return catch off his bowling. Finch's sparkling innings comes to an end. He departs for 89 off 52 balls. The physio is out nursing Vinay's left hand. Replays suggest it could have had a bearing on the webbing between a couple of fingers. Nathan Coulter-Nile comes out. Kumar bowls a slower one to the new comer who is happy to take a single.

    Australia: 172/5 | Overs 16 | Finch 88*, Henriques 5*

Is Finch eyeing another ton in this format of the game? Looks so at the moment. He welcomes Ishant with two fours in two balls and gets a single off the third ball. Ishant gets his third boundary of the over.

    Australia: 151/5 | Overs 15 | Finch 74*, Henriques 5*

A boundary-less over. Who would've thought? Jadeja's final over fetches just six runs. He finishes with astonishing figures of one for 23.

    Australia: 151/5 | Overs 14 | Finch 72*, Henriques 1* OUT! Haddin 5 (3)

Bhuvneshwar returns to get a wicket! He gets rid off Brad Haddin who tries to cut a length delivery and an outside edge carries to MS Dhoni. Finch is still not perturbed. His strokeplay continues.

    Australia: 143/4 | Overs 13 | Finch 65*, Haddin 5*

Virat Kohli comes back. Finch continues to play his shots. 14 runs from the over.

    Australia: 129/4 | Overs 12 | Finch 54*, Haddin 4* OUT! Maxwell 27 (13)

Jadeja strikes. Trust the man to get India the most vital breakthrough. Maxwell goes for another big hit over long on but he can't clear the tall Ishant Sharma who does well to stay inside the ropes after taking it on the edge. Much needed wicket for India.

    Australia: 124/3 | Overs 11 | Finch 53*, Maxwell 27*

India's Sohail Tanvir Virat Kohli comes in to bowl. Kohli's medium pace was brought in, in the hope of not keeping Maxwell from going a six-hitting frenzy. Unfortunately, for Dhoni, Maxwell picks him up to get his fourth six. Ten runs from the over.

    Australia: 114/3 | Overs 10 | Finch 50*, Maxwell 20*

Ashwin is back and he bowls from around the wicket to Finch who sweeps a poor delivery down the leg behind square. That boundary brings up Finch's half-century. Ashwin continues to bowl down the leg.Ashwin's off day continued as Maxwell got under a full delivery and tonked it over deep midwicket. He followed that up with another maximum, this time over mid-wicket. Jokes on the million dollar baby, anyone?

Ashwin bowls a waist height full-toss with a stop-and-deliver action but Maxwell whacks it over midwicket. 24 runs from the over.

    Australia: 90/3 | Overs 9 | Finch 46*, Maxwell 2*

Jadeja follows up a good over from Vinay Kumar with another tight one. Only four runs from it.

    Australia: 86/3 | Overs 8 | Finch 42*, Maxwell 2* OUT! Watson 6 (5), Bailey 0 (3)

Vinay Kumar sends back Shane Watson and George Bailey! Watson was not happy as he walked back but replays show there was no inside edge. The ball had struck him in line on the back pad and the umpire's finger went up right away. Skipper George Bailey walked out next and perished off his third delivery in a bid to continue the aggression. He hit the ball straight to Jadeja at deep midwicket. Glenn Maxwell walks out.

    Australia: 82/1 | Overs 7 | Finch 41*, Watson 6*

Ravindra Jadeja comes into the attack. He starts with a teasing delivery to Watson who looks set to slog sweep it but misses by an inch or two. Finch, meanwhile, is busy dispatching the ball all around the park. Jadeja bowls a delivery outside the off-stump and Finch manages to play away from the body and still have ball sail over the deep cover boundary.

    Australia: 74/1 | Overs 6 | Finch 34*, Watson 5*

Ishant continues. Another stroke-filled over as Finch gets three boundaries from it. 14 runs from the over.

    Australia: 60/1 | Overs 5 | Finch 21*, Watson 4* OUT! Maddinson 34 (16) [

Australia's fifty comes up but this has to be the best over for India so far. Bhuvneshwar Kumar strikes to get rid of the aggressive Maddinson. The 21-year-old goes for 34 off 16. 12 runs and a wicket from the over.

    Australia: 48/0 | Overs 4 | Finch 19*, Maddinson 29*

Maddinson starts the over with a huge six over deep midwicket. 21-year-old Maddinson is giving an astute Dhoni a lot of headache here. A classy pull shot follows to give Australia 10 runs off the first two deliveries. Under the current circumstances, this is a good comeback from Ishant. He gives only two runs in the remaining four deliveries.

    Australia: 36/0 | Overs 3 | Finch 18*, Maddinson 18*

Well, Maddison seems like a man on a mission! MS Dhoni brings in Ravichandran Ashwin and Maddison comes down the track to get a boundary over covers off the first delivery. Poor bowling from Ashwin here. He bowls a short delivery to Finch who gives himself some room and plays it to the point boundary. Ashwin varied his line but Finch has enough time to move away from his leg stump and slam it through the same area again. Nightmarish start for Ashwin as he ends his final over with a poor delivery outside off-stump which is hit over the top on the off-side. 17 runs from the over.

    Australia: 19/0 | Overs 2 | Finch 6*, Maddinson 13*

Vinay Kumar starts off from the other end. Maddinson gets his second boundary of the innings. Its a poor back of the length delivery and the left-hander played it over covers. Vinay Kumar bowls a slower delivery but it is full and Maddison plays it over behind the point fielder. What a good surface this turning out to be. 10 runs from the over.

    Australia: 9/0 | Overs 1 | Finch 5*, Maddinson 4*

Aaron Finch starts with a shot over the in-field. It was an inswinger from Bhuvneshwar Kumar but there was way too much time for Finch to swing his bat. Good change of pace from Bhuvneshwar. He will be the key for India. It's a flat deck and lack of variation will give away lot of runs. Maddinson too is off with a boundary.
